To obtain an AZ CCW permit to legally carry a concealed weapon, one of the requirements by Arizona law is that you take an AZ DPS Department of Public Safety approved CCW Class from an AZ DPS approved instructor. The class given by EXCEL Firearms Training Center exceeds the AZ DPS minimum class requirements.

For EXCEL Firearms Training Center to certify the back of your AZ DPS CCW application, you must successfully pass the following:

Be present in 8 hours of classroom training.
Qualify on the Firearms Range with any legal handgun...14 or more shots out of 20 on TQ-15 picture target.
Pass the Final Written Exam of 20 questions with 70% or better.
